August 26, 2011 Evening Bat Walk
Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM We will be hosting a bat walk with Zoologist and bat expert, Andrew Hebda, from the Museum of Natural History. There will be a short slide presentation about these resonating creatures. Then, using a specialized instrument that picks up bat's sonar, we will track their activities in the park. Please wear good walking or hiking shoes, bring a flashlight, insect repellent, and water. The fee for adults is $7, children $3, cash only. Pre-registration is required. You must receive confirmation from the park to attend. Meet at the Wetland Centre. Sponsored by the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources.
