Wear your walking shoes and join us on Friday, October 14, at 1:30 p.m. on the trail behind Cumming Hall at Nova Scotia Agricultural College to celebrate the newest section of the Cobequid Trail.

The event will include a ribbon cutting and trail walk, followed by light refreshments in the Riverview Room at Jenkins Hall.

The new trail goes through the attractive NSAC campus, runs along the ridge overlooking the Salmon River, and connects to the trail at Bible Hill Recreation Park that was upgraded in 2009.

The Municipality of Colchester, Village of Bible Hill, NSAC and Province of Nova Scotia have partnered to develop this new 1500 m section of the Cobequid Trail.

The Cobequid Trail is a 16-km network of walking and cycling trails in central Colchester County. It features the tidal Salmon River and tributaries, Cobequid Bay, Acadian dykes, agricultural lands and woodlands. www.colchester.ca/cobequid-trail-network
