Hiking Event Join Cobequid Eco-Trails Society (CE-TS) on October 16th, 2011 for a Fall Guided Hike in the Gully Lake Wilderness Area. Meet at Juniper Head Trail parking lot on Glen Road. There will be two options on this linear hike: 6.4 km or 12 km. The 12 km group will start on the Juniper Head Trail, hiking through immature spruce wood, old sugar maple and yellow birch and a variety of old forest lichens and meeting up with the Gully Lake Trail and continuing on into Gully Lake. The 6.4 km group will be doing the Juniper Head Trail. Hikers should bring water, a high energy snack, sturdy shoes or hiking boots and dress in layers for a variety of weather conditions. This is a guided hike - you will be asked to sign a waiver and are required to stay with the group. The leader has the authority and discretion to alter routes as conditions require. Meet at 10:00 at the Trail Head located on the Glen Road heading out on the trail at 10.30. For directions to trail head, detailed description of the trails and cancellation policy, please check CE-TS' website www.cobequidecotrails.ca .  For additional information contact Sheila atÂ
