Christine Blair is serving her first term as Councillor. She previously held this position as Councillor for Bible Hill from 1997 to 2000.
Councillor Blair is married to Bill Blair, has two sons and two grandchildren.
Councillor Blair has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mount Saint Vincent University and Business Administration diploma from Acadia.
In 1992, Councillor Blair became an elected representative of the Village of Bible Hill and for almost 17 years has served as a Village Commissioner. She has served as Chairperson for the Village of Bible Hill and Chairperson for the Association of Nova Scotia Villages. In 1998, Councillor Blair became the provincial Returning Officer for the electoral district of Truro-Bible Hill through Elections Nova Scotia, a position she currently holds.
As a volunteer, Councillor Blair is Clerk of Session for St. David's Church, President of Bible Hill Cemetary Company, a representive for Bible Hill on Truro & District Chamber of Commerce and CoRDA Board of Directors.
