As Mayor, I am very pleased that you are taking the time to explore our website. Whether you are looking for information on County Council, municipal services, or even interested in adopting a dog, this is the place to start.
For those folks who reside in the County, I hope that this site will be a helpful way to learn more about your municipal government, our variety of programs or maybe even a little something that you didn't already know about our community.

Profile
Mayor Taylor was first elected to County Council in October 1997 in District 1, representing Bible Hill and Valley. He was re-elected in October 2000 in the new District 1 representing the western section of Bible Hill and re-elected in 2004 for District 1, and was elected Mayor of the County on October 18, 2008.
Mayor Taylor has been married for 45 years. He and his wife, Earline, have 3 grown children, Jodi, Wade and Jennifer and 9 grandchildren.
Mayor Taylor has been very involved in the community for the past 30 years, mostly in sports, recreation and the fire service. Most recently, while serving on Council, he has served on the Planning Advisory Committee, the Police Advisory Board, and the Steering Committee for the new civic centre.
As Mayor, Bob will preside over Council and serve as a member of the Executive and Audit Committee, the Regional Emergency Management Advisory Committee, and the Civic Centre Steering Committee. Mayor Taylor is also the ex-officio member of the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) and the Tatamagouche Water Utility Committee.Â
Recently, Mayor Taylor was elected as a Rural Caucus Member and a Board Member of the UNSM.
