District 5

District 5 has a gentle blend of rural and urban landscapes. It is one of the most populous of all districts in Colchester and is one of the most diverse.  

This region is one of the best examples of how industry, agriculture, residential subdivisions and environmental areas can all coincide. This district is home to Deuville's Rink, the first winner of CBC's Hockeyville Competition.

Boundary Description

Bounded on the north by the northern community boundaries of Murray Siding and Salmon River;

Bounded on the west by the eastern boundary of the Town of Truro and District 3;

Bounded on the South by District 4;

Bounded on the east by the western community boundaries of Greenfield and Valley; and

Is comprised of the Communities of Salmon River, Murray Siding, Harmony and Camden.

District 5 is currently represented in Council by Glen Edwards.
