Hazardous Waste Disposal

There are many products in our homes that contain harmful chemicals. It is important to dispose of these types of products properly for the protection of the environment and our health.  The drop off depot is a FREE service to residents of the Municipality of Colchester and the Towns of Truro and Stewiacke.

March 3rd, April 14th, May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th, August 11th, September 8th, October 13th and November 3rd

Hours of Operation: 9:00am to 1:00pm

2012 Mobile HHW Events

There will be three mobile HHW events held throughout Colchester this Spring.  These events will be located in Tatamagouche, Economy and Stewiacke. Stayed tuned to this page as dates will be posted when they become available!

• Pathological Waste
• PCB's  
• Waste from Industrial, Institutional or Commercial Sources
• Waste from outside Colchester County
