Community Torch Relay Celebration

 

The organizers of the local Olympic Torch Relay Celebration would like to take this opportunity to thank the countless volunteers who donated their time to make this event such a huge success!

Thousands of people gathered along the torch route and in Victoria Park November 17, to welcome the torch and to celebrate the 2010 Olympics in Canada as well as Truro and Colchester County’s richsports heritage.

A big Thank You goes to volunteers, parade participants, local media and anyone and everyone who showed up to be a part of Olympic history! Without your help and participation, this event would never have happened.

Truro and Colchester County proved that they can really shine when the spotlight is turned in their directions. Again, Thank You and we hope you had a fabulous time!
