Winter Walking Program
Community walking captains needed for the upcoming winter months!
Colchester County Council is excited about a new partnership with the Chignecto Central Regional School Board to open the schools during the winter months for safe walking. Before classes start you will be able to join your friends in a warm comfortable environment and add some extra steps to your day.
The Municipality is looking for individuals interested in helping to organize walking groups and act as a community walking captain for their local school. The community captain will be responsible for unlocking the school, keeping an eye on the walkers and then closing the school again when everyone is gone.
