NOTICE - SMOKE TESTING, BROOKFIELD & TATAMAGOUCHE SEWER SYSTEMS
The Municipality has hired Englobe and Biomaxx to carry out smoke testing of the sewer systems in Brookfield and Tatamagouche. These tests will help us find any rainwater connections to our sewer system, which are not permitted.
The work will take place between July 6th and July 11th. The smoke being used is harmless and should remain in the sewer pipes. However, should any smoke enter your home or business, simply open a window for a few minutes to vent the space.
For more information, contact Nelson Purcell, Englobe, at (902) 478-7760.
