Cape to Cape Trail

This trail is under development.

The longest continuous footpath in Nova Scotia, the Cape to Cape Trail will extend a distance of approximately 400 km between Cape Chignecto in Cumberland County and Cape George in Antigonish County. This wilderness trail will pass through the Cobequid Mountains and the Pictou-Antigonish Highlands. Please visit the Cape to Cape Trail website for more information.

The Cape to Cape Trail will be part of the International Appalachian Trail.


The Cape to Cape Trail in Colchester County

Sections of the Cape to Cape Trail are being developed in the Gully Lake, Earltown and Nuttby Mountain areas of Colchester County by Cobequid Eco-Trails Society. One section, the 6.2 km Rogart Mountain Trail, was built in the fall of 2008. An additional 28 km of hiking trails are under construction in the Earltown Lake area and Gully Lake Wilderness Area.
