The Municipality of Colchester is advising the public of vehicle restrictions at Fundy Discovery Site and on Tidal Bore Road in Lower Truro. Vehicles longer than 30 feet are restricted. This restriction begins Sept. 24, 2026 and is expected to continue until late fall 2027. The Municipality of Colchester apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Location: Fundy Discovery Site (103 Tidal Bore Road) and Tidal Bore Road (access from Highway 236) in Lower Truro

Effective Date: Sept. 24, 2026 and continuing until further notice

Traffic impact: Fundy Discovery Site and Tidal Bore Road will be closed to vehicles longer than 30 feet.
