Brad Roy and Elaine Desjardines, on behalf of Family Acres Campground Inc have applied for a Land Use Bylaw Amendment for property owned by Family Acres Campground Inc, located at 2204 Highway 4, PID 20131793.

They are requesting to rezone the subject property from RG – Rural General and AP –Agriculture Potential to P2 – Commercial Recreation. Should the rezoning be successful,the development of a campground is proposed. In accordance with the Colchester Land Use Bylaw (2025) Site Plan approval will be required. This process is separate from the rezoning application.

The Colchester Planning Advisory Committee will meet in Council Chambers (3rd Floor) at the Municipal Building at 1 Church Street at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, for a public meeting to review and discuss the proposed rezoning application. There is an elevator available off the lobby on the main floor.
