TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of Colchester will be holding two (2) PUBLIC HEARINGS on THURSDAY, September 24, 2026 at 6pm. They will be held in Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 3rd Floor, 1 Church Street, Truro.
Council will consider the following at these Public Hearings:
Hearing 1 - A request by zzap Consulting Inc., on behalf of Blowers & Grafton Developments limited, for a Development Agreement to allow a grouped dwelling residential development at 104 Vimy Road, Bible Hill, PIDs 20068540, 20477196, 20287702, and 20249226. The Agreement would be for five (5) multi-unit buildings, totalling 260 units.
Hearing 2 - Administrative Amendments to the Colchester Land Use By-law to clarify the issuance of permits for low density residential uses and other limited uses on existing lots on abandoned public roads.
Any representation and/or written objections by interested persons concerning either hearing may be made at these Public Hearings.
