Mandatory Water Conservation Notice - Tatamagouche Water Utility

Due to the continuing drought conditions, the Mandatory Water Conservation Notice for Tatamagouche Water Utility customers is still in effect.

Use of water for landscaping, filling pools or washing vehicles is no longer permitted. We also request that customers avoid letting faucets run when washing dishes or vegetables, or brushing teeth. Length of showers should also be reduced.

This Conservation Notice is being issued as a precautionary measure at this time. While the Tatamagouche Water Treatment Plant continues to operate as normal, the lack of rain in the forecast and current river levels remain a concern. Customers failing to adhere to this notice are subject to disconnection of water service.

For more information, contact Colchester Public Works at (902) 897-3175, Option 2.

We thank you for your cooperation and continued support in conserving our water resources.
