TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of
Colchester will be holding a PUBLIC HEARING on
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 at 6pm. It will be held in Council
Chambers of the Municipal Building, 1 Church Street, Truro.
Council will consider the following planning application at this Public Hearing:
A request to enter into a development agreement to allow a multiple unit dwelling development at 307 College Road, Bible Hill, PID #20062352.
Any representation and/or written objections by interested persons concerning this amendment may be made at this Public Hearing.
The staff report is posted on the Municipal website at www.colchester.ca/Planning under Current Planning Applications. TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of the County of Colchester will consider Second Reading of Chapter 60 Deer Feeding By-law, at their regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, September 25, 2025, beginning at 6 pm. This meeting will be held both virtually via Zoom Webinars and in-person.
The proposed Deer Feeding By-law is intended to reduce human-wildlife conflicts and protect both deer and the community by discouraging unnatural feeding that can lead to overpopulation, property damage, and safety risks.
The text of the proposed By-law may be inspected or a copy obtained from the Administration Office, 1 Church Street, Truro, or is available on the County website at www.colchester.ca.
